Keratoconus symptoms

Keratoconus is characterized by a progressive thinning and bulging of the cornea, leading to distorted vision and increased sensitivity to light. Patients often experience frequent changes in their prescription glasses and may notice ghosting or halos around lights. As the condition advances, they might develop corneal scarring and require specialized contact lenses or surgical intervention for improved vision.
